Damn 10 years later, i still love this film. I watched it first when I was 14 in 2009. People should stop looking at this movie to compare it to the animated one. Yes they are both a story based on the same girl and her achievements, but this is an adaptation of the ballad of Mulan, not an adaptation/live action of the animated movie. Therefore it should be experienced and percieved as a completely different movie. Uh, where's Mushu? Who's that bird-witch? Where the f is Shan Yu. When he says ' i can save the day' in my head it's follows with. i safe tomorrow, so i can run away' i know the first line is not right.

I love it so much because he is a pretty tough and strong character, but when hes with Mulan he just cant function.
